I believe there is an existing realm, the formless, which transcends our sensory understanding of the material world. Hence, I attempt to map a different reality through my works by keeping the objects and forms ambiguous. In my paintings, I give the mundane a more profound aura so that everyday reality has a mysterious dimension. During this process, I mutate, stretch, erase, layer and connect unmatchable objects and incidents to create irrational situations and open up a space for discovery. Could logical thinking be limiting our ways of perceiving reality?

Despite being bold and adventurous, my paintings are autonomous. I attempt to make the viewer enter into a novel space that is in the process of becoming something else.
